The RSPCA Hull and East Riding Branch was founded on a volunteer ethos over 100 years ago and our team of dedicated volunteers remains the golden thread that holds our charity together to this day. We simply could not function as a successful rescue centre without our volunteer heroes.

We are always looking for amazing people to join our team of dedicated volunteers. We have lots of opportunities to get involved, from walking the dogs in our kennels, caring for the cats in our cattery, supporting within one of our four charity shops or the Distribution Centre, assisting with events and fundraising, administration or even maintaining our buildings. So, if you have a few hours a week or month to spare, why not join us in our mission to protect and care for animals!

Once you have completed your volunteer application form, you will be asked to attend an informal interview and provide referees for us to contact (depending upon the role you are applying for). Please don’t worry about this; it’s a supportive process designed to find a role best suited to you!
