On Saturday 9th August, supporters of RSPCA Hull & East Riding will join hundreds of others to take on the Pub 2 Pub Challenge – a fantastic 10.5-mile fundraising walk through the beautiful East Yorkshire countryside, raising vital funds to help animals in need.

Organised by Dove House Hospice, the event starts at The Potting Shed in Beverley and winds through historic market squares, scenic trails and charming villages, with seven welcoming pubs* along the way. This isn’t just a walk – it’s a celebration of community spirit, local landmarks, and shared purpose.

For those walking in support of RSPCA Hull & East Riding, every mile helps fund the rehabilitation and rehoming of animals who’ve faced cruelty, neglect, or abandonment. From abandoned puppies to elderly cats in need of comfort, your support helps us give them the second chance they deserve.

The route includes stops at:

  • The Highfield
  • The Hayride
  • The Bay Horse, Cherry Burton
  • Molescroft Inn, Molescroft
  • The Rose & Crown
  • FIREPIT

And finally, back near The Potting Shed for a well-earned celebration!

Registration is just £20, and we ask walkers to raise a minimum of £25 sponsorship for RSPCA Hull & East Riding (or another local cause of your choice, indicated during registration). You’ll receive a Pub to Pub t-shirt to wear with pride on the day – plus a keepsake to remember your efforts.

Let’s hope for sunshine, good company, and plenty of wagging tails along the way!  Sign up now at: dovehouse.org.uk/pubtopubwalk
