Microchipping is one of the simplest yet most important things you can do to keep your pet safe. If your pet ever goes missing, a microchip gives them a permanent form of identification and is often the fastest way to reunite them with you.
Sadly, we see far too many lost pets come into our centre without a chip or with outdated details, making reunions much harder than they need to be. A quick microchip can truly be the difference between heartbreak and a happy homecoming.
To support the public to get their fur-babies chipped we are holding a series of Microchipping Events in the coming months where you can bring your cats, dogs, rabbits or ferrets along to Microchipped for a minimum £15 donation.
The scheduled events are:
- Sunday 1st March between 11am – 1pm at the Holderness Road RSPCA Charity Shop
- Thursday 19th March between 10am – 12pm at the Cottingham RSPCA Charity Shop
- Tuesday 7th April between 10am – 12pm at the Beverley RSPCA Charity Shop
- Saturday 2nd May between 11am – 2pm at the Animal Centre on Clough Road
- Saturday 16th May between 10am – 12pm at the RSPCA Distribution Centre, Chamberlain Business Centre, Chamberlain Road.
What you need:
- No booking required – just drop in
- Bring photo ID & proof of address
Protect your pet, support local rescue animals, and don’t miss out on this important event.
