RSPCA Hull & East Riding is proud to celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD) by honouring the incredible women who play a vital role in the branch’s mission to rehabilitate and rehome animals in need. To mark the occasion, the branch is unveiling a special montage featuring some of the dedicated women across the organisation – from animal care staff, retail to volunteers, senior managers, fundraisers, and trustees.
International Women’s Day is a global movement celebrating the achievements of women while advocating for gender equality. For RSPCA Hull & East Riding, it is an opportunity to recognise the passion, dedication, and tireless work of the women who help protect and care for animals in the region.

As a White Ribbon Organisation, RSPCA Hull & East Riding is also committed to tackling violence against women and girls. The charity stands against all forms of gender-based violence and is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for women, both within the organisation and the wider community. This International Women’s Day, the branch not only celebrates the achievements of women in animal welfare but also reinforces its pledge to challenge and prevent violence against women and girls.
The special montage will be shared across RSPCA Hull & East Riding’s social media channels, highlighting the individuals who make a difference every day. The branch hopes that by showcasing the women behind its work, it will inspire more people to get involved – whether through volunteering, fostering, or supporting the charity’s fundraising efforts.
