On Monday 1st December we launched a new fundraising partnership with Your Charity Lottery, managed by Dove House Hospice, offering supporters the chance to win fantastic cash prizes while helping vulnerable animals across Hull and East Yorkshire.
For over 100 years, we’ve has worked tirelessly to rehabilitate, and rehome animals affected by cruelty, neglect, and abandonment. Our Animal Rehabilitation Centre on Clough Road, featuring 30 dog kennels (within a newly built £1 million facility) and a 16-pod cattery, is often at full capacity—highlighting the urgent need for sustainable funding to continue this vital work.
The Community Lottery provides an easy and affordable way for the public to support us. For just £1 per week, participants can make a real difference to the lives of animals in need. Every ticket sold helps us provide rehabilitation, and education to promote kindness and reduce cruelty in our community.

Why It Matters

Every entry helps us provide unrestricted funding to care for animals like Bella and George, two elderly dogs who came to us in poor condition after their owner could no longer cope. Both were underweight and suffering from untreated health issues. Thanks to our dedicated team and generous supporters, Bella and George received vital treatment and found a loving home together—a story that reflects the difference your support can make.
Matt Wright, Head of Operations at RSPCA Hull and East Riding said: “As an independent charity we have to raise our own funds to support rehabilitating and rehoming cats and dogs in the Hull and East Riding Area. This is a huge challenge and via the Community Lottery we are offering the community an alternative way they can support us. The funds from this partnership will provide us unrestricted money to support our work now and into the future.”

Together, we can give every animal the second chance they deserve.
