We’re beyond proud that to be part of this year’s Festival at Hull Minster — and our tree is extra-special. We’ve decorated it with 200+ tags — each representing a cat or dog we’ve rehabilitated and rehomed in 2025. Every tag stands for a life cared for, and given a new start. Why are we doing this? Because behind every adoption there’s a story of recovery from neglect, abandonment or trauma — and we believe those stories deserve to be seen and celebrated. By displaying our tree at this community event, we hope to show the real impact of our local rehoming, raise awareness of animal welfare, and inspire supporters to stand by animals in need.
The Lord Mayor’s Christmas Tree Festival – each tree is decorated or sponsored by a local business – open to the public from 2 December until Christmas Eve and entry is FREE. We would encourage you to pop along and enjoy the wonderful display of decorated Christmas Trees in aid of the Lord Mayors fund.
If you visit, please take a moment to look at the beautiful cats and dogs we’ve rehomed — and you just might be inspired to adopt one of our animals currently looking for a new home.
Thank you to everyone who have adopted from us this year and given our animals a brighter future.
