On Tuesday 27th May, we celebrated a very special milestone — Bobby’s 1st birthday! 🎂 But Bobby’s story didn’t start with birthday cakes and paddling pools…

When Bobby, a 10-month-old Labrador, arrived at our Animal Rescue Centre, life had been tough. His previous owners could no longer care for him, and sadly, he was often left alone for over 10 hours a day. With no routine, little stimulation, and no regular walks, Bobby developed signs of stress and struggled to adjust.
Thanks to our dedicated team, Bobby was gently introduced to a new way of life — one full of enrichment, structure, and love. We quickly discovered that chasing tennis balls and splashing in paddling pools were his absolute favourite things!
Then came the happy ending. Beth and David, experienced Labrador adopters, spotted Bobby and instantly knew he was meant to be part of their family. Now Bobby’s days are packed with long walks, fun games, and all the attention he could ever wish for — not to mention his very own paddling pool to splash around in!
Bobby is just one of many dogs who arrive in our care with similar stories. We’re so proud to see him thriving in his forever home.
