We are proud to celebrate a new partnership with Hull-based vehicle branding specialist Brandfixx, following the transformation of our animal ambulance.
Our animal ambulance plays a vital role in our work across Hull and East Riding. It transports animals who have come into our care after cruelty, abandonment, neglect or trauma, helping them reach the safety, treatment and support they need. Behind every journey is an animal beginning the road to recovery.
When the time came to refresh the ambulance’s visual identity, we wanted more than a simple tidy-up. We wanted the vehicle to reflect who we are, what we do and 
why our work matters. Brandfixx helped us achieve exactly that.
Brandfixx uses a modular vehicle branding system rather than a traditional full wrap. This means the design is created in defined sections, so if one area is damaged, updated or changed, only that section needs replacing. The result is a more flexible approach that can help reduce waste, vehicle downtime and operational disruption.
For a charity, those practical benefits are important. Every saving can be directed back into animal welfare, and every hour our ambulance remains available helps us continue supporting animals who need urgent care, kindness and patience.
Brandfixx’s published information states that its modular branding kits can typically cost around 40% less than standard wraps, with most kits installed in around 2 to 6 hours. The company also reports that the system can use 40% less material and reduce lifecycle carbon emissions by up to 73% compared with a traditional wrap-led approach.
But this partnership is about more than practical design. It is about shared values. Brandfixx understands that our ambulance is not simply a working vehicle — it is a visible symbol of rescue, recovery and hope for animals across our community.
