Deli had a very difficult start to life, after being brought to us by the National RSPCA Inspectorate due to cruelty and neglect. When she arrived at our centre, Deli needed extensive veterinary care and an extra special rehabilitation plan to get her back to being a confident and happy young pup!
DELI
Living the high life…
Deli watched many other dogs come and go during her extended stay at the rescue centre, but she remained patient whilst waiting for her very own happy ever after. After several weeks in our care, it became clear that Deli had actually already found her special someone right here at our centre! So it wasn’t long before Deli headed off to her forever home with the same member of staff who had played such a big role in her development.
Deli is now living the highlife with her buddy Pumpkin, going on as many adventures as she can in the woods, countryside, zooming about fields, and obviously getting up to as much mischief as she can get away with. Her first conquest was learning to use stairs and she has since discovered more exciting activities, like hopping the baby gate to make sure she’s not missing out on anything good! Deli has had lots of new experiences in her forever home; the most recent being her first sighting of sheep and peacocks! She found both a bit scary at first, and was not very impressed with the noises they made, but soon adjusted when walking past. Deli has also made huge leaps in confidence and has begun to enjoy meeting new people in an environment she feels safe and comfortable in. She is now looking forward to spending the rest of her days with her forever family, ending each day with some brain games and a snooze on the sofa with her teddy.
As a team we are so proud of Deli, and we are so glad she can finally enjoy the safe and happy life she deserves!
