Jasper and Whisky (previously known as Ping and Pong) had a very difficult start to life, having been abandoned in a box in a car park at just four months old. As the pair were just kittens when they arrived at our centre, they both required a special training plan to ensure that they would be ready to live in their new forever home.
JASPER & WHISKY
The dynamic duo...
Originally, Whisky and Jasper were to be rehomed separately. However, it soon became clear just how inseparable the pair were, when Jasper became distressed the moment Whisky was taken to be spayed. Luckily, it didn’t take long for the pair to find their loving new home, as Jane and Keith came along and were delighted to take on both cats as forever family members!
Jane and Keith tells us that, over the last twelve years, this dynamic duo has filled their home and hearts with love and joy (and occasionally birds or mice!) and are both just as active and happy as they were at four months old. Jasper can still knock over a pint glass with his extra-long tail and loves spending the evening on the sofa. Whisky, on the other hand, has maintained her feisty personality and loves attention strictly on her terms!
Whisky and Jasper are now entering their retirement years, but that doesn’t stop them having a run around the house together and playing! As a team we are so proud of this brave pair, and we are so glad that Jane and Keith gave them the chance to live such a full and happy life together.
